Sorry to hear this, mrmarket.

When I lost my job three years ago, I have to say it really worked out for the best. Four months of unemployment gave me a good break and I went back into my next gig recharged. Hope the same happens on your side.

Seems as though accountants have been getting more than their share of this lately.

Sorry to hear this Market, I am an accountant and was laid off 2 years ago when business went south. Took me 3 months to find a new job so hopefully you'll find something soon as well. Even in a bad economy, accountants are still in demand. Good luck!

After 21 years in management (same company) I was fired on a Friday..BUT the day before...21 years of marraige (same woman) was served divorce papers...My whole life was turned upside down..But was able to bounce back with another job and found a wonderful woman(now married ).
