No you don't get to add and subtract, that would be a 15 point swing.

James had 10 more points then Deng, 28 to 18, that's a difference of 10, covering the -7.5 points he was laying; he covered the number by 2.5 points.

Sounds like you took LDeng +7.5...that means he would have to score 7 points or less than Lebron James. He scored 10 points less. Your 25.5 Deng and 21.5 Lebron look like you're doubling the 7.5...

Lebron had to out score deng by 7.5 or more points. He scored 10 more than deng. So lebron -7.5 won and deng +7.5 lost.

Why would you assume this? Your not betting both events ur betting 1.

When you bet miami -4.5 you dont also add +4.5 at the end. This is no different. Have u ever bet a point spread ever. With ur logic it wud be stupid to ever bet a favorite cause theyd have to cover the spread twice to win.

I wish I could use that as an excuse. I really did believe that as a prop that it would be the final total of both players. No wonder I have been losing all of those bets and wondering why. I appreciate both sarcastic and truthful responses to question. That is why I try to stay away from props, can be a little tricky at times.
