SBR Points Fun...until today!

Hey Guys. Im glad to say I havent made a wager with real money in 2 months. I have been playing around with SBR points, with some nice success. Making a few bets a week, and I got myself, up to about 3,000 points, until the roof came caving in.

It all started with the Bulls blowing last nights game, I had the ML. Lost about 1,000.
Then I collapsed, and went nuts on French Open trying to make it up. What a mistake.

1) Schiavone -190 PUSH (up 1-0 set, and Peng retires)
2) Georges -230 LOST 575pts
3) Garcia Lopez +145 LOST 190pts
4) Youzhny -145 LOST 400pts
5) Wozniacki -240 LOST 610 pts
6) Tsonga -140 ABOUT TO LOSE 385pts (up 2-0 sets, and a break in the 3rd...now going to 5th set, and Wawrinka is crusing)

OUCH I remember why I stopped betting real money! haha

I went to lunch with Tsonga serving, up 2-0 sets and 4-2 serving in the 3rd. Now he lost. WOW!
It wasnt for money, but one of the worst losses youll ever see.

And tonight you won't thinking about your losses with an empty feeling of guilt and disgust because it's only points you lost, not $3k. Good for you.. keep it up. The points system here is a great way to curb gambling addiction, but just like anything else it's tough to get past the first few weeks, but after that it's pretty easy. GL building your points br back up...

Thanks zam. Im not even going to try to build them back up. Took me 2 months to get to 3,000, and some very, very bad luck it all gets drained within about 18 hours.

I think it's funny I laid chalk on 5 of the 6 matches, and the only chalk that wins is the match I took the dog. Hilarious!

fps? Freeplays? It wouldnt have mattered, because regardless I lost all my points, which would have just been the freeplay!

And in terms of the pizza, now I just get to eat healthier.

Either way, very disgusting run of luck. I fell asleep with about 4 mins left in the Chicago game. I woke up the postgame, hearing the in-booth guys talking about a Dallas/Miami matchup, and I started thinking, "Miami still has to win this series first" Little did I know!

I had to explain to my wife why I'd be taking $1K out of our savings account after betting credit. Not a fun conversation!

Why is that when we are red hot, our wager size is small, but when we start going cold, we increase wager size by 2, 3, 4 times the amount, and lose everything! I havent been able to explain this, but 99% of us do it!

So I lost ALL 5 tennis wagers today, and the Bulls yesterday! Well I actually lost my previous 8 before that (Toronto Blue Jays, San Fran Giants, Kamke, Medina Garrigures, Clement, Anderson, Larsson and Baghdatis)

Can you believe I lost 14 in a row, with me laying chalk on 8! Holy Smokes.....I didnt realize I was up to about 4,700 points!

YA, I was watching the Tsonga match. As soon as he went ahead 4-2 in the 3rd I went for lunch, expecting to come back to a completed match. Little did I know I would be walking back into a tiebreak, in which Tsonga choked, and the rest of the way was miserable to watch.
