Correia has given up 3 ER in his last 18 IP vs. Cubs -- 12 of those IP were at Wrigley.

Not sure there's a real "angle" to this game.

Doug Davis is awful, but he was relatively effective vs. SF in his only other start at Wrigley.

Correia's medicore at best. Pittsburgh isn't hitting for shit right now, yet they for whatever reason have owned the Cubs recently.

You could make an argument for either side.

                      For what its worth:

-Cubs struggle on friday at home
Sports betting and handicapping forum: discuss picks, odds, and predictions for upcoming games and results on latest bets.

-Davis w/l record is 3 wins 7 losses for day games the past 3 years.
-Davis has given up 1 RBI every 6.9 at bats and an OPS of .832 vs the current line up.
                      VS
-Correia W/L day games 8/9 (big woop).
-Correia has given up 1 RBI every 33rd at bat and an OPS of .672 vs the current Pirates cubs line up.

Cubs are 5-16 after a win.

I lean pirates. But then again, I should just flip a coin.

Pittsburgh's cold at the plate right now, though, and look at how they fare vs. southpaws:

Cubs might want to try and get this guy instead of wasting their time with pieces of shit like Casey Coleman and Doug Davis.
