Wind will be blowing in at around 10 mph according to the reports I have seen. Still, Correia's starts have hit OVERs in 7 of 10. Day starts 4 of 5, Away starts 4 of 6. Looks like nine runs is about the average for his starts. Davis sucks. Cubs are 8-2 on OVERs in their last ten and 16 of 25 at Wrigley this season. If it's 9 or less, I think the OVER is a solid play on Friday afternoon.

I think this number is going to be hung low. Forecast is calling for Winds around 15-17 mph which is IN from Left Center. Hoping for an over reaction at 8 or 8.5. Probably difficult for the books to figure out where to place a Doug Davis total. Had one solid start vs. an inept offensive SF team and got pounded by Boston.

Lineups look fine to keep the play on the Over. Just waiting to see the ump to see if that influences me any, but there's been plenty of times lately where the ump doesn't make a shit's worth of difference when the pitchers suck.

Common misconception that the wind blowing in at Wrigley always means more unders. Numbers this year when the wind is blowing in ... 9 of 12 .. OVER. Certainly doesn't help to blow in, but if the pitching stinks, the pitching gets got.
