. I think you nailed it and presented it nicely. LV, I've been preaching the same thing for a bit now, ever since FT and PS's got shut down I thought this was inevitable for reasons quite similar to yours, including talking with guys in the industry. I told guys to be careful. Don't give a fukk if they disagree with me or not but just be careful. I was told how everything is safe, NO WAY the gov't would intervene in the offshore sports book industry because placing bets is legal and the processors they use are legit, moneys safe. Quit being an alarmist I was told. Accused of inciting fear. And now the US gov't seizes this domain. So now that they can no longer say the US gov't will never be involved in any way, these same naive people are saying "it's just a domain name, operations will resume without problems at a different website. This is just like Bodog a few years ago." Well, this isn't anything like Bodog a few years ago.

Tony at 5dimes knows something is up as well. Forget that "dos attack" bullshit. We had a member recently that won some money in the casino at 5dimes and Tony refused to pay. Well after some back and forth, Tony offered to pay the guy but no longer allow him to play there. The guy posted the chat logs here, sorry I forget his name. Well, in those chat logs, Tony showed his hand. He told the guy "in the near future, there won't be many places to play online. And you won't be coming back here when this happens." That is a BIG statement coming from a guy right in the mix of things in this industry. Tony knows whats coming and it ain't pretty.

I've never worked in the industry, I don't know any of the big guys in it and I'm not a lawyer so there's not really much point of my commenting other than that. There are enough people on the forum giving "facts" based on nothing more than their opinion. No need for me to add to it. Best of luck with your bets

Anyways this video was just a heads up for everyone. If you think offshore is fine then do not worry about it. For non Americans this isnt much of a big deal. I made this video for alot of the young betters we have on here that are GAMBLING to start with WAY more than they should and hoping they use their head before depositing. I do not know everything but let me tell you what I do know.

#1 The sites were seized by the FBI - I heard people saying in the poker room today that it was because they failed to renew their domain. WHAT A JOKE those guys needed to be informed.

#2 The bank accounts for these sites were SEIZED and money was frozen. Do they have other money and
other accounts? Maybe but I am sure the FEDS knew that also and if they did they would seize that also.

#3 Most of Bookmaker and 2Betdsi accounts are from CREDIT (AGENT) accounts. This will not be effected by what has happened. I never said it will either

#4 Full Tilt and Poker Stars had alot more power than Bookmaker does. Full Tilt was valued around 800 Million. Bookmaker isnt worth 50 m in my opinion.

#5 Full Tilt is still not paying players....The only reason Stars was is because they worked with the Goverment and had alot of power.

#6 It is in the best interest of SBR and Bookmaker to make like everything in ok. Think about it if their main cash flow is frozen what is the best way to get a new cash flow going? Say everything is ok and start a fresh bonus program (LOL HAPPENED TODAY).

I said a hundred times in my video if you did not want to believe me then no problem. I am trying to help the people who want to get help or are just unaware of what is really going on.

I wasn't too LAZY. My son is SLEEPING next to me. For the first 30 or so seconds you sat there, opened a beer (I think) and then music started. I rarely watch videos over 4-5 minutes as it is on here. I'm not going to risk waking him up just to wait around for you to finally start to talk with music in the background. The industry will be fine, if a book has not made the strides to diversify its clientele outside of the US, then perhaps they will suffer and have to close shop but an established outfit (bookmaker) will play their players.

You are grossly understating the worth of both bookmaker and fulltilt as companies. While I agree that it may become more difficult to deposit, player's funds at legit and proven books will remain safe. I don't advise ANYONE to keep more in an offshore than they can afford as budgeted income but those players who are pro/semi-pro will find means to be able to continue betting at their desired books.

I certainly appreciate the video for its entertainment value and the points you make are pretty obvious, to claim that you educating the masses on the state of the industry is dubious.
