They'll fade, we're only 6 weeks into the season.

Duncan is the best pitching coach in the game IMO and Tony gives him free will, that makes a good combo.

I think Garcia had a great start last year as well, then faded a little bit. Kid has a nice future.

Lohse has been good so far this year. I think he was kinda broke down the last year and a half.

McClelland has been decent so far, with the help of some run support. I think the team is 7-1 in his starts so far.

I have just been anti-Larussa since he got here.

Hate him or love him/them, you've gotta read "3 nights in August", by Buzz Bissinger. A few years old now, but a great look into the minds of baseball madmen, whether you admire them or not.

                  Duncan maybe ...

Larussa has used (and covered for) a bunch of roid heads to win his titles...

                  Larussa is a bad manager...

agreed, larussa has covered for his players where by him doing so nobody would know they used peds. until someone pointed it out to me i had no clue anyone used peds because you cannot tell. you have to look real close to be able to tell. larussa pulled the wool over my eyes, but no more.

                      Josh Johnson:

                      1.64 ERA same as Garcia, WHIP 0.98 to Garcia's 0.99, Innings Pitched Identical 60.1, JJ 56 K's Garcia 53 K'S

The only thing is Garcia is 5-0, JJ is 3-1

BUT, if you give Johnson, Rasmus-Pujols-Holliday-Berkman for run support, he'd be undefeated also.

Josh Johnson is your front runner for Cy Young.

Girardi is underrated. Being able to win w/ 200mill team is tough.

What is their payroll compared to the Reds? The Reds won it last year and they'll win it again this year! LaRussa is overrated but Duncan is the best in the business!
