u don't have a fvcking clue!
Even the commentator in the video said it "nice gesture from Ronaldo"
They just gave him the new shirt that was clean!
And if u see all the fans around were happy!
So I don't see the problem!

You seem to have a grudge against Ronaldo, daimoshokage. The video CLEARLY shows Ronaldo going over to hand his shirt, until he is stopped by presumably people higher up at Madrid and being given a replica to give to the fan! Well done Ronaldo I say.

Ronaldo can be a bit of a twat, but don't see anything wrong here. He intended to give him his match-worn shirt but the suits intervened. It's still an official Player-Issued shirt which are different from the ones you would buy at a retailer. Dude with the broken nose could still make a mint off of it if he wanted to.

Ronaldo seems to appreciate his fans. He gets a rep for the metrosexual stuff but he makes an effort to say thanks. On the other hand Messi is the little smiley guy everyone relates to but he's not very good to his fans. Costa Rican families and kids saved up their money to see Messi play in Argentina vs Costa Rica at the new stadium. He didn't even log a minute or wave to the fans. A friend told me all the kids were waving and trying to get his attention when he was on the bus and not even a reaction. He's still a young guy so maybe he'll figure it out.

The replica shirt was cleaner than the actual shirt. Who wants to wear a sweaty shirt?

Ronaldo does tons of charity work off the field that he doesn't make a big deal out of, he's a great human being even though his image on the field fools many people. I remember a story about him personally flying over to a sick patient whos dying wish was to see him in person. All of this in the middle of the EPL season.
By the way that shirt was historic since he broke a record in that game, so the fan got his shirt and apology in person but Ronaldo had to keep that jersey for historic reasons.

the team does not carry replicas. That was most likely his backup jersey for him to change into in case it gets soiled with blood.

So true!
People really have the opinion that Messi is like every one of us! And in fact he is very cocky!
He showed that in Costa Rica! My friend went to the game!
Lot of people pay to see Messi on the field and he never went in! Ok but the main thing was that all the fans were asking for him and he just didn't give a sh*t about all of the fans that pay the ticket to see him!
The problem is that Ronaldo has the image that a lot of people thinks is far from them, even though Ronaldo also started from 0 like Messi!

Personally I think he was just trying to give a clean jersey versus a nasty sweaty one....most Ronaldo haters dislike the guy so much they'll find little things like this and read it the wrong way

I think blocking the old guy which obviously works for the team would be more classless. The fan got a jersey regardless. Honestly, rather have the cleaner one vs Ronaldo's sweat.

Fukk that old dude, he should have been kicked in the ass in the first place..
Would you rather have a kobe/lebron worn sweaty jersey or a replica one.. Hell yes I'll take the sweaty one, at least i know he wore it.. Just put it in a plastic bag if you're allergic to sweat..

theres a difference between authentic and game-worn. he still got an authentic jersey, just not a game-worn one. it is not a replica.

It was an authentic jersey, not sure why this is classless? Looked like a nice thing to me.
