#6I wonder what's up with this? I mean..... 28 year olds don't just drop dead for no reason. Especially when your in the shape of a world-class athlete like Boogard was.

#12It would be interesting to see the autopsy results. I have a feeling it'll have something to do with brain damage.Comment -

#16Brutal news. You don't want to make assumptions but one would think it may have been caused by drugs/partying/etc which makes me wonder if there is a clinical link between brain trauma and the tendency to "self-medicate" with different things. All sorts of different tough guys that passed away for different reasons at a young age but 28 is pretty shocking.Comment -

#19Usually when media reports leave out details of death then 99 times out of 100 it indicates suicide which wouldnt be surprising given he probably got depression having missed so many games. Twice as many ppl neck themselves then die on our roads yet its still a subject that is totally taboo to discuss...RIPComment -

#25This is what I was thinking if it's not drugs or suicide. Be interesting to see if he took any blows to the noggin in the past few days but he missed some time for concussion and if a hockey guy misses a game for a concussion you know he's fukked up.....probably on the level of Morneau.Comment -
