i know it's supposed to be for fun. but if you bet on 3 guys at +800 or so each you are essentially getting less than 3 to 1 odds for taking way less than 1% of the field.

maybe if everyone was at least +5000?

casinos/lotteries are for fun too but at least they give you a fighting chance and don't have 90%+ juice...

depends on how you calculate the juice thaddeus. i was saying more than 90% of the bet is kept by the house unlike lottery online games/raffles/etc where it's "only" 50%.
you're right though if you calculate from the baseline.

i like buying $20 scratch offs for fun, but they return about 85% so on average i'm only donating $3/ticket (15%) to the state which to me is a fair price for the fun they provide.
