when a name player who has been with a team for years is traded - it is basically all over for him. then new team is just picking him up on a hope and the prospect of a few more ticket sales and to make their fans believe they are trying to uprgrade. ive seen it happen dozens of times over the years.

What dherd said is spot on. They'll parade him out to the media, have him sign some stuff at the local malls etc. The Gimmick always works. But The teams never do get their full money out of the guys they pick up.

I disagree. Thus I don't trust you. He'll never play MLB again.

It is Milton Bradley, unless he has invented another board game the team that pix him up will have 50% less fans in a 13 minute time span.

Dude can not control his temper.
If he would just shut-up, then teams would just keep him on the roster.
But he is not worth the trouble.

I bet the Rays or someone like that signs him for the minimum. Seattle is obligated to pay his salary for this season....

The Padres seem to take any vet and give them a shot. Look at the vets we have already with a batting average below .250
The Padres is a organization where vets come and rest their careers.

Nobody is going to sign him. Now only is he about the biggest cancer imaginable, but he also can't hit anymore. He's done. Finito. He made his dough.

I don't see him playing again. Not only is he a disease in the clubhouse, but he has hit for a low .200 average during his M's stint. He has no power and can't play the field. Not only that, but he beat up his wife. Screw him. Hopefully he ends up playing in Pakistan.

He and former baseball player (and full time lunatic) Carl Everett should share an apartment. We could watch them inexplicably explode over such things as:
No condiments for their hotdogs and whose to blame
Same colored toothbrushes
Who lost the remote
You bought a dog and you think that motha fukkin ca-nine is gonna live here?!
Disagreement over the proper pronounciation of Moet when they order at da klub
And many many more....It's the latest reality show, "Rich Angy Black Dudes" on NBC, Tuesdays at 9pm EST.
