Bodog Screwed me.

Perhaps you opened the account, even years ago, without opening it through an sbr link. I don't think its the deposit link that counts its the account establishment...

Never had problems with bodog before, have had a few issues and everytime i have called they have been helpful

Hey Lou, I did leap frog a bit fast. I was truly upset. But if you notice a few posts down I did state a few times SBR can only do so much and I did not blame you. The first post was out of frustration.

I asked for the thread to be locked because I was trying to get to the bottom of it myself. But to Clarify everything for everyone. I have finally found out what went wrong. After much talking to Bodog. This is 100% on me.

Even though I did in fact go through a new signup form, with a SBR link. It turns out the sign up just gave me an old account number. I guess I had originally signed up for bodog to have an account for a contest. I never deposited/nor did I ever return to bodog again so I must have forgot about. This account was open in August 27th.

To BodogBecky. Your book was accurate so my apologize for saying they were not. You could tell your customer service reps to be a little bit better about helping a guy out other than blunt "No you did not sign up through them, we have no record of it". Only one rep did take the actual time to find out what was wrong. To her I say

Thank you.

I did what I was supposed to. I went through the link & made a first deposit in what I thought was a new book. I would of never had any idea Bodog would just give me an old account number through their form. I will just be waiting on my withdrawal to make a deposit in the only book I'm 100% sure I never signed up for. Anyone know anything on this William Hill???

When did you actually signup for Bodog? Bodog sees you signed up in August which contradicts what you posted.

No problem Bill, Sorry it went on for so long. This all could of been avoided if I had been more patient, and if the reps I actually talked to had taken anytime to help me figure this out instead of one lining me. Not saying that is an automatic negative against Bodog I'm sure company policy defines what they can say/do & to what extent.

But a little help is always a good thing
