I don't get why everyone is so harsh to each other. We aren't betting against each other in these forums, these are made to help us all beat the books. Warriorfan I'm with you (obviously easy for me to say now that dallas is pretty much up 2-0) but I agree that Portland has been getting too much hype and Dallas too little credit in this series. Ever since the ESPN analysts predicted this to be the upset series to watch, everyone magically thinks the Trailblazers will dominate the series. BOL to everyone.

Portland screwed themselves, they have 10 less shots than the Mavs in the quarter. Not moving the ball enough, letting Dirk & a 3p specialist get open again and again.

dallas has had some success over the last 10 years but i wouldn't call them "proven winners". they are proven chokers, though.

this thread was easy to start after the fact or late in the game, whenever it was started, and posts like the one above are easy to make after the fact as well.

i had dallas 2nd half -4/under 93 2nd half parlayed (with no full game action on this one), by the way, so i am not a bitter portland backer.

Im talking about the players in general you have jason kid, Dirk , Peja, with all the playoff experience, and everyone seems to forgot that before all the injurys dallas had the best record in the league. Players on Dallas dont play for the regular season, they get motivated by the playoffs. Portland is gonna give them a fight but no way they take controll of the series, stop the jokes portland only got 1 consistent player in the whole team.

Dirk is soft. Peja has never made a western conf finals and Kidd is washed up. This team is getting WAY too much hype.
