I think ur right....I'm a big C's fan, but they haven't impressed me as of late. Game should be close, and knicks gotta be feeling sour after their game 1 collapse...Really hope C's come out and slap 2night, but i'm not seeing that.

I have a big concern about Carmelo wanting to do too much tonight and trying to takeover the game. Without Billups, there is no ball handler to tell him no, and stay within the offense. That is what happened at the end of the game without Billups, and Carmelo was forcing everything and not giving it up to Amare.

I'm not really good with totals, and I have no idea what this game 2 is gonna present. Just hope C's get good production from O'neal again, and baby plays better.

billups didnt even play well at all took a lot of quick bad shots in my opinion i understand thats his MO but you got to make them if your going to take them. Keep tony douglas in he hits tons of 3's and had the huge 3 that should have sealed the game with 37 secs left in gm 1

I think the Celtics cover the 7 as well, although I will not make a play on it. I see this one being slowed down a lot, as D'Antoni was upset with a lot of the quick shots the Knicks were taking. They will focus on pounding the ball down to Amar'e, and running iso for Carmelo, which they had great success with in game 1.(1 NY miss is usually good for around 40 seconds without a basket) Boston will work the shot clock as usual and play great defense. Knicks will again leave rondo wide open, which will at times bring the celtics shot clock very low to a forced shot.

Billups potential is a huge loss for the knicks..as he has the ability to give the opposing point guard fits at times, drawing fouls and knocking down pull up 3's a few seconds into the 24. This could be a real breakout game for Toney Douglas, one factor that could jeopardize the under. I don't see Toney replacing the mental toughness Billups has, drawing cheap fouls and being a great floor general.

Only time will tell, but at this time I am on the under.

I'm liking the knicks +7 as well as the under. I have a bigger play on the under as 193 is an awful lot of points for these two teams. Especially with the defense Boston has. As someone stated above, they will try to slow this game down and that will result in less points. 87-84 NY.

Celtics played really sloppy last game, and Big Baby took way too many jumpers... I don't think we'll see that happen again.

Billups is out. Melo won't pass it to anybody if the end of Game 1 happens again. I doubt the Knick defense can hold the Celtics to under 90 points again. It's going to be close if and only if the Knicks bring the same defensive intensity they did to Game 1. Perhaps most importantly, D'Antoni needs to better manage his time-outs. He tires his players out; if I recall correctly there wasn't a timeout in Game 1 until 5 minutes left in the 1st quarter. I was impressed by the play of Bill Walker in Game 1 when Melo got into early foul trouble. The X factor here is the Knicks bench. The Celtics are going to play better than they did last game. Take the Knicks plus the points, but only if you're not a Celtics fan - in that case, root for your team, who seems to find the fountain of youth on the court no matter how old they get off the court.

The same reasons that Melo got the playoffs in Denver and sort of in NY will be the same reasons he will never win it all...he's got the same mental problem the AI did, too offensive minded and blind to see that he doesn't have to do it all to win. He even has a sidekick that Iverson never had and won't even consider passing the ball to him at the end of the game. If he ever stops worrying about himself and looks after the team they may have some success until then you will see a lot more games like the other night and his whole career in Denver.
