There hasn't been any poker reruns for two days eventhough they are listed in guide on comcast.Does this have something to do with Fridays fiasco? The only thing reason I can think of is the promo shirts and hats since the WSOP is not illegal.

I love watching poker. They will find a way to legalize online poker here in the states. There is too much money at stake.
4/5 of those commercials were Poker Stars/Full Tilt. Hopefully they find new advertising dollars because they can always blurr out the hats/t-shirts during the show.

Do none of you remember that the WSOP was televised before online events? Just take your stupid hat off and replace it with another one and play cards... We're not going back to pre-Moneymaker days, it's just a little hiccup.

How sad it was. One of the reason behind this is that there are lots of world series of poker shows & it's the popular thing right now & every channel has telecast poker. Thanks for keep continue sharing the stuff.

I doubt we will see tournament poker on TV again until this all gets sorted.
There is a bit of history with poker being outside the jurisdiction of gambling laws, so I think there's hope that they'll throw the whole thing out on the basis that the UIGEA was not actually violated. Google Richie Sexton.
Walter forgot... when you're desperate's when you got no choice.

WSOP will still be televised... Harrah's will most likely just pick up the advertising and they won't be able to wear FTP/Ps/AP, etc. shit on.
I read somewhere that the WSOP Circuit Events will still be aired on Versus.

Very dark times after an incredible 8 year run for the "sport".
