#107The money is actually a lot safer left in the sportsbook, the danger is with the processors. Better to leave the money alone until the storm passes, and then pull some of it out before the next storm.Comment -

#115No shit Chile? All the pros and grinders have migrated to the great Canadian North? Crazy shit man! Canada could start up some big money tournaments though, since the dumb ass US just wants to fuk poker players and sportsbooks over, and lose money to more tolerant countries.Comment -

#119Withdrwawl ASAP if you have funds in US players allowed book!!
get you money out ASAP if you have funds in any book who allows US citizens!! You are at risk of losing all your funds as they will be seized and not returned!!! Get your funds to Pinnacle, BET FAiR or another book that does not allow US players today!!!!!! They are the only secure wagering outlets!!!!Comment -

#120The majority on this site overreacts to any news that gets spewed on them. The industry as a whole is not going anywhere IMO, they have worked around these problems in the past and will continue to do so. As for the Bookmaker case, they are one of the most respected bookmakers in all the land, they will be back to normal in no time and if by some slim chance they are not, do you honestly think they will not honor players' funds, they have paid like clockwork from their creation.Comment -

#121either leave it in and lose it like always or get a local which is the better option...locals cannot get busted anymore easily because they use cell phones and can move around to different locations to accept your wagers...it's only a small fine anyway if they somehow get caught...they can't trace cell phone calls so they don't bother...Comment -

CC processing is pretty much shut off, bank statements now say they can steal your funds if you wire in money from offshore, starting in 2013 there will be a mandatory 30% tax on transfers from or to the u.s., etc etc.
yes the us government shut down betonsports, but come on this is about 8 major poker/sports sites in a very short period of time. combined with the continued payment problems, and lack of u.s. players due to fear of losing funds, this industry (as it relates to u.s. players) is in really awful shape right now.Comment -
