"The indictment alleges Johnson, the school’s all-time leader in points and assists, took a bribe to affect the outcome of a game in February 2010."

Johnson did go 1-6 with 5 turnovers in a game against Loyola Marymount on February 25th, 2010.

And just think, the feds wouldn't have even known about it if they weren't for investigating a marijuana operation.

Sports Betting is just like any other market either it be the stock market, forex or etc. There is always going to be a certain level of manipulation involved, as a bettor all you can hope for is that the game you are all in at the time is not the game being rigged.

NCAA understaffed like no tomorrow, and even if they were, with all the teams and all the uncertainty that this even occurs, how would anyone expect this to ever really be monitored?? Wire taps for every team? Gonna put Freaman and McNulty on UMBC? It's just not realistic.
