I still feel Jackson is undervalued and I am strictly fading the Rays till they prove me wrong.

Both teams are slight faves so not too much juice and each team hitting the ball pretty well.

I'm taking the Rays, possibly on the run line. Full disclosure, I'm a Cub fan, but that is not factoring into my decision. The Sox are coming off back to back extra inning affairs which taxed their bullpen. They only came north with 11 pitchers, so unless Jackson throws a gem, I think the Rays finally break out once they get into the Sox pen. In addition, it's opening day at home, so there may be some added distractions for the home team to deal with. BOL to all.

Reds have been unbelievable but I don't lay lots if chalk early in the season, and rarely later as well. But I think the Reds probably sweep them.

Blue Jays have had a good couple of season starts now and it seems like it will be a third. Might drop some coins on this one.

Good to see others backing some of the bets I made last night...lovin' 5 dimes overnight lines. I also saw some value with Cleveland today...cold weather, wind blowing in, and Cormona's first start on the road is not telling of his true potential. While both him and Lester got rocked on the road during their first starts, Lester didn't record a single K, which says a lot about where he's at right now. Hope I hit...would have went 5 for 5 yesterday, but Soria blew up in the 9th and the White Sox were finally able to put together their own late game heroics.

Okay so it was splitsville on the early games 1-1

Evening play:

Orioles and the slightly interesting chalk, Penny had a really good outing against them last time he faced them (but that was 2009) and Tillman was great vs. the Tigers going 7 innings and giving up 1 run on 3 hits while striking out 7.

Also another interesting tidbit, apparently Penny's fiancee is going to appear in Playboy, and news of this just broke a few hours ago. Not sure how this effects the game but I don't think assuming it makes him a bit more distracted is out of the question. Here's the link to that story:
