Didn't touch it... If anyone were to bet it with the -1000 OR MORE odds you have to take the underdog for small value on that.

so i was dumb to take cole +800?

why would you NOT bet on a scripted event that has huge favorites like that, when they could just as easily lose due to interference/cheating/injury/etc etc

I'm not a natural whiner when it comes to how books choose to settle, but the rule I've been quoted in live chat makes no sense as to how Cole was settled a loser.

Diana: Results will be graded/regraded based on the official result at ringside. A result may be revised or altered after initial presentation by the ring announcer. Results are not official for wagering purposes until verified by officials at the fighting venue. Official or unofficial sanctioning body overturns of a fight decision based on appeal, suspension, lawsuit, drug testing result, or any other fighter sanction will not be recognized for wagering purposes.

If the results are not official until verified, then surely the GMs decision is the verification? The overturn is what "Diana" said was the reason for not paying out, but that wasn't any kind of sanction it was simply an overturn of an incorrect ringside call.

The "announcer" rule in this thread is nowhere to be found on their site.

Never had trouble with 5d before in many years of use, but I'm rather disappointed not to be paid on this one.

Sorry, I think that's more what I was getting at - if you're going to bet this it would have to be on underdogs - no way you could make money on the favorites at -1000. I'm just surprised that books would put out lines on it. I guess you can make money on anything.
