Actually if we omit the temp as a filter, the Dogs produced a bit more
units (overall) besides 2009. It appears this system as been
successful overall and has turned a profit over 7 years straight.
'09-'10, we witness a significant drop off on +units. Perhaps an off
year(s) for dogs???. Anyway I would like to incorporate another
successful dog system into this one to see if we can increase our
units and decrease the amount of plays. I appreciate the help and
discussion on this topic. I am a month into this SDQL and trying to
learn, but loving it!! Can anyone convert the following...? Love
to see if we can get something going here.
The following filters.
1. Must be divisional opponent
2. Must have won previous game
3. Local start time of game must be evening (6pm or later)
4. Dogs greater than +150 are eliminated.
5. Starting Pitcher of the FAVORED team needs to have an 3.50 ERA or
higher (this eliminates your TOP 20 pitchers according Saragin on
average)
6. Eliminate any games in which the UNDERDOGs have lost 3 or more
games in a row or the FAVORITE have won 3 or more games in a row.
