    Someone explain this to me
the NBA is investigating Jay-z for talking to Kentucky Wildcat players after their game in the lockerroom, but they do nothing when Jordan is talking to UNC players and telling them they will get a bunch more nike products. He is around UNC players all the time. The NBA rule says owners cannot have any type of contact with college players prior to the NBA draft. They are both owners, and Jordan has the majority stake with the bobcats.

Jordan said that if the Tar Heels win two games in New Jersey this weekend and get back to the Final Four, he'll supply the entire team with the tough-to-find (and quite pricey) Air Jordan 11 Retro "Cool Greys," along with "anything you want."

Upon hearing that, the words "NCAA violation" might spring into your head, but it appears that wouldn't likely be the case, as the Jordan Brand — owned by, of course, Jordan — is the team's official equipment supplier

I'm not talking about NCAA violations. This is an NBA rule for the owners, where they can not have any type of contact with players who are not draft eligible. They investigating Jayz for it but not Jordan.

Jordan has always been untouchable, the media was always easy on Jordan not hammering him for his cheating on his wife, the gambling. Any other star they would drag through the mud.
