the NBA is a sport but it is also entertainment. If fans have anointed you a 'heel' role, you would be pragmatic and opportunistic to embrace it and play it out a bit...imo

Why is everyone against LeBron? I mean I know his antics going to Miami were stupid, I agree. But goddam he gave Cleveland 7 years and an insane amount of wins. Obviously he was the whole team, seeing as how terrible Cleveland is now. And yes I know they beat the Heat yesterday, that don't mean shit when you have a horrific 15 win season. It's the management's job to get better players isn't it? Why was Bron pretty much alone for 7 years carrying that team? The guy doesn't owe anybody anything. He had a contract, he played it out. The Cavs fans didn't give a shit about HOW he left, they hated him for leaving period. Why is he gonna stay somewhere where he's not gonna win? The guy is one of the greatest to ever play the game, I don't think he deserves all the abuse. Classless fans can't criticize Lebron for being classless
