Last day to get the SF giants OVER 88 wins @ -115. An 81-81 record would be .500 ball. All deposits FDIC insured.

Looks like a good bet. I just hate having my money tied up at the book for so long.

This. And also strange things can happen over the length of a long season. But yeah, I would agree it does look like a good one.

Hate future bets, locking up funds all year sucks especially if it loses, that's gotta blow, does any one do player futures?

90 wins is a lot for a team like this.... and what does 81 and 81 have ne thing to do with it? They could win 87 games and still win the division, they could be on cruise control last month of the season, also worried about there hitting. And will pitching be able to do it again

                      how would that yield 173%?
if the bank gives you 2% interest they don't say it's yielding 102% they say it's yielding 2%

These dudes could have a championship hangover and suck ass this year. Not worth tying up the funds for 6 months, unless you're only betting a hundred, but where's the fun in a $100 future bet.

Profit 100 on 115 investment for 6-month equal 173.91% yield APR

                            100/115 = x
                            x*2 = 173.91%

ok thanks, wasn't thinking in terms of ANNUAL rate of return, i'm sure i can find another -115 that's 100% sure winner like this one 6 months from now

i think the apr is more like -14% since there's 7% worth of juice in that bet for 6 months...

to win 89 games the giants now have to go 88-69.
not even close to impossible but i am feeling good with my action on the under.

                                        i hope you're wrong freelee.
usually there's value in going AGAINST teams that outperformed last year, like the sf giants or milwaukee bucks.
bucks over/under for this year was 47 wins!

only worth playing win total futures if you have a decent amount on them...played quite a few win totals in NFL just becuz the season is short compared to other sports.
