Losing your starting center from 103 of 108 games (including playoffs, and 2nd most starts of any Celtic) that year in Game 6 of the Finals is not the same as not having a guy who started in only 25 games and didn't play a single game in the playoffs. The Lakers made it there without Bynum, and his impact is unknown... its fairly obvious to anyone who watched the Finals what Perkins' impact was

Perkins was obviousIy important to that team especiaIIy on the defensive end.

Bynum wouId have meant a Iot to his team as weII.. No teIIing how it wouId have pIayed out but another 7 footer in the paint to grab boards and bIock shots wouId def be a pIus...

How much ever you hate Celtics they are a championship team with match winners. Rondo, Pierce, Allen are capable of a one man shows. For Knicks, I knew from day one Amar'e, except for the ' is nothing special. 'melo is one genuine clutch player. But one is never enough to win playoffs let alone the championship.

i still don't get it bro...it's alright if u think you are right here...and you might be...but they aren't overated...i don't think they were ever the favorite to win the ship...lakers and heat have been the favs since the beginning...C's have been "too old" and then traded away perkins...and they could've won 2night, had pierce hit that shot at end of reg...they can play with any team in the league. Even if they lose to heat game 5, they can't be classified as overated, b/c they were never projected to win

It doesn't take a genius to predict the heat going to ship with 2 of the top 5 players in the league on same team...ur mavs prediction is a lil more bold...i'll even root for them in the ship if ur finals prediction comes to frutition
