Not to rub anything in, but Ill tell you why I took the A's.
If you looked at the starting lineups, you'd notice the A's were utilizing the DH, while the Reds were not. What a major advantage!!
Oakland's DH, Sweeney, was instrumental in runs in both the 2nd and 3rd inning, as he reached base both times.

With this said, Oakland was getting plus money. This information should not go unnoticed.
