that response is legit that samgurt posted...though i must say there were a lot of older asian people (i assume parents of kids living in my building) parking in the underground parking and roaming the floors and doing laundry on the machines in the basement. not stereotyping just an observation, but in a year of living there i didn't once see anyone above the age of 25 other than asian parents. i couldn't have cared less because the building was overall pretty quiet and the people were generally pretty friendly.

Regarding her saying that Asians can't survive on their own, she doesn't understand Asian parents. They are there offering help, not because the kid can't handle it. A big reason why Asians love their families more than any other race (stereotyping, I know) and why a lot of them get good grades (under huge pressure from parents).

I did find the rant funny though. A lot of people are getting too serious over it. Especially since Asians are the most racist people in the world.

I can't help but feel sorry for the chick. How screwed is she for future job/grad school prospects?

Also I may have to apply to go to UCLA. Apparently just about anyone can get in.
