I know a number of professional gamblers

None of them have sex with hot girls

Many of them do find one girl to have sex with long-term. These girls tend to have lovely personalities and are cool people, but tend to be notably on the lower end of the hotness spectrum

the few guys i know involved with gambling who do have sex with hot girls lose money betting

well it's certainly doable, if unlikely

by the way, the chances of being able to win AND have sex with sexy girls is the PRODUCT of the chances of each. so, if

chances of winning = .02 (or 2 percent)
chances of having sex with sexy girls (non-hookers) = .15 (or 15 percent)

then the chances of

winning AND having sex with sexy girls (non-hookers) = .02 x .15 = .003 (or one-third of 1 percent)

if they are correlated, the chances of both happening increases from .003

If they are anti-correlated, as I strongly suspect they are, the chances of both decreases even lower than .003

if you include hookers into these equations, the numbers change, of course

ahj1937, you need to first find an "edge"

You can find edges by playing at slow-moving books that keep lines up that you can be confident are +EV on one side

or you can bet into widely-available numbers by building a statistical model that gives you edges that the market isn't factoring in yet

in both cases, money management is key - if your bet size is too big, you will lose even if you do have an edge

you will need to understand somewhat advanced mathematical concepts to implement all this

but it can be done! I wish you luck! go to the handicapper think tank and start reading those threads!
