How the hell does this Phil Taylor guy come off as being a -435 favorite?

He is a 13-time world champion and has won this competition 5 years out of the 6 it has been played.

Van Barneveld is a very good player and it his very best has beaten Taylor several times. His form has been inconsistent though and lately he appears to be psychologically affected when playing against "The Power". Odds seem about right to me.

Taylor is a beast. I would have a tough time betting against him. You probably don't want to lay the juice as well.

Darts is a pretty random game to bet on though, but exciting. Sid Waddell makes it fun too.

I admit I've checked the TV guide and seen only darts was on, so I've bet on it before.

I think I broke about even.

Oh shit, there's more snooker on this morning. I'm taking Stevens +115. Guy was playing great yesterday and I'm going with him again. I'll talk darts after the snooker match.
