1. Title: Slaying Suckers
2. Salary: $1,000 per month
3. Betterment Plan: Start first by banning anyone who has more than two threads started that are on the 1st page of Players Talk. Secondly, declare Jihad on people who complain about points and/or who ghost so much that they wear Casper's face as a condom. Jihad will be accomplished with an assortment of point destroying bombs. Thirdly, find iifold and pay some whore to give him a hug.

Job: Poker/Sport Contests Consultant
Salary: $1 per month
Plan: My job to make SBR better would be to review all the Poker and Sports Contests before the rules are officially published and make sure the contest format is not confusing or have loopholes that will enable cheating. Once I review the proposed contest I will give my recommendations to improve it before it actually goes on out in public formally.

I'd follow people who are playign in the casino and when they start winning, ill tweak the casino to make them get fukked up so they lose. I'm 99% sure you already got someone doing this but they might need help.

I would continue to help add items that people would come to the site post and try to get .I would also make SBR more financially stronger by improving the SBR Pro program.

I would love to work for SBR. It's a great place to gather information, share plays, and discuss all aspects of sports betting. In my time here, I've talked to many people through Chat, Posting and Skype and have met some really genuine people that share the same interests as I do. Hopefully, I'll get to enjoy the presence of fellow posters at the SBR Bash in August.
Position: Moderator
Salary: Negotiable (Do not know all the details about the position, hard to judge)
1) Make the SBR Forum and Sub-forums more enjoyable by eliminating the hateful threads and moving the threads that do not belong. By doing this, members will be able to find the information their looking for more effectively and be more inept to keep visiting and/or contributing.
2) Find the ghosts. It's not fair to other law-abiding members that people have 2+ accounts and take advantage of the system.
3) Monitor the poker tables. This seems to be a great aspect to SBR and many members enjoy playing in the tournaments and ring games. Having someone on duty to monitor the tables will allow the tables to stay open longer and keeping members on SBR.
4) Have an open door policy to members. I would encourage PM's or emails about how to make SBR a better place and strive to fulfill these requests (if reasonable). Welcoming questions/comments/ideas is good customer service and I feel a Moderator should be available to discuss these in an open forum. Moderators should be the link between thousands of members and the upper-management of SBR.

1: Providing Game previews for upcoming sporting events, as well as interviewing posters on videos one by one giving everyone a lil more personality to their handles.
2: $1000 a Month
3: The better known the posters are, the better the forums flows, causing members to be more eager to share words on all kinds of daily topics...

I am always on SBR during the late hours as I'm off at 10pm. I'd love to help out when there's no mods around to assist late at night/early am.
As contests admin, I'd love to organize a lot more bracket style contests, make up new contest, ect.

I'll take this topic somewhat seriously...
I'd be the point man to expand the site more heavily into poker, which would in turn bring in affiliate revenue and advertising revenue. It would also ensure the site's continued profitability given that the market and political trends in the US are heading more towards poker both in terms of legalization and legitimacy. As a result -- and given the existing brand name/visibility as well as the already large base of members -- SBR could easily be the 3rd - possibly even the 2nd - biggest player in a very profitable space . GTM plan would involve promotion of free tournaments, getting some WOM going within the community, and doing simple things like offering up FTP, PS, and other poker options into the store. I would also parlay SBR's great SEO (result 1 for sportsbook forum) into some equally lucrative pageranks for relevant poker searches. An investment in poker expansion now will pay large dividends over the near-term (2-5 years), and if poker is legalized for any significant portion of the population (i.e. Californians), those dividends will be even larger (in virtual perpetuity). The other upside of attracting poker players is that many are inclined to gamble, and the poker and sports elements would go hand-in-hand and could thus be a dual source of revenue.
Salary: Not interested. Been my own boss for awhile now, and there's nothing better. If I wanted to do this, I'd probably negotiate a base and large commissions, and make both of us a crapload.

Job: Director of poster scouting and recruiting
Salary: $3000 a month + Tavel and liberal expense acct.
Plan:
To visit sports bars, casino's, horse track's, card rooms, houses of ill repute, GA meetings and any other locations or establishments degens like to congregate to recruit new posters to the web site. My plan would include buying drinks for recruits, fronting them cash for a lock of the century or inside tip at the track, and even buying the occasional whore (I get first shot though) in exchange for them to do 90 posts in 90 days at SBR.com. I would travel with wireless internet and laptop and expose recruits to the website on the spot and under the influence. I will obtain cash or CC imprint (along with 3 digit security code from the back) imprint for at least $200 to cover the pro application and get a signed contract where in exchange they get 9pts a day as pro. (don't tell them I am skimming 3pts a day off each acct!).
Whadaya say John?

I've already stated what I would like to do.
Move Threads from Players Talk to The Saloon. That is the only power I'd like from the position. I do not need compensation. I don't need it to say moderator under my name. I don't need anyone to know that it is me moving the threads. Give me a 1 week trial, and if I do an unsatisfactory job, take away the privileges.
I am on during the work week from 6am - 4pm central time, but not much during the nights, except sometimes wednesday nights.
You guys made The Saloon for a reason I thought and I'd lend a helping hand getting it going by moving threads that belong there instead of in players talk.
And yes Mods...I will move every single one of fightingwarriors threads into the Saloon.
