            When you sign in, your location is detected. It does not matter where you purchased it. I think.

              Think they have used both in the past. To get around the location aspect, use a proxy server or hide your IP

                    This doesn't work and hasn't for the last few years. Blackout restrictions apply to where the IP address you are logged in from is located at.
