Has anyone won money at online casinos?
I used to play online blackjack a few years ago for fun but i to test it out and people say that is the dumbest thing to gamble online.

But i wanted to know, has anyone of you play at online casinos and actually won a good amount doing so? I would assume the most popular game is online blackjack. I see many people say i have never have seen so many 20's and dealers hitting 21 so many times.

I would have to assume there are definitely people that are up 5 digits + in online blackjack right? Of course there are people that make a living at sportsbetting or say playing poker but is there anyone actually making money in online blackjack somehow or any type of online casino?

And do you guys agree that the moment you bet more on a hand, then the more likely you are to lose? And do you guys say some online casinos are worst than others?

Like all casinos, yes you can win in the short term. No, you will most likely never be able to earn a living off of house edge casino games. Yes, there are wagers that can reduce the house edge to 0% even swaying you as high as 1.4%, but yes, should you start running at expected value with those wagers, you will see your maxes reduced to 1.

If you are winning set a point at when you start losing you leave.
other wise you'll lose it all waiting for that next win

hit it, win it, and get out

Assuming you play basic strategy with the same doubling/splitting rules as the SBR casino for the same stake each game, the probability of you being ahead is as follows.

          After 10 hands - 48.4%
          After 100 hands - 42.1%
          After 1,000 hands - 36.3%
          After 10,000 hands - 15.6%
          After 100,000 hands - 0.1%
          After 1,000,000 hands - 0.0000001%

This assumes a fair 'RNG', of course.

You can grind out a little playing short sessions only

Basically if you win a little get out and maybe go back at night for another small session , have a limit also

First time I tried the casino I won $1,000 playing Craps. I won a $100 NBA bet that night and decided to just try it out for a few dollars. 2 hours later I won a grand.

I played Don't Pass with odds and a few Don't Come bets. It was like the game was rigged IN MY FAVOR. I seriously couldn't lose, and when I did I won it back + more on the next point.

Sure enough, I tried it again a week or so later, ended up dropping $500 back. A week later, another $300 then never looked back again.

If you are new to online gambling and are willing to download alot of casino software, you can get alot of no deposit bonuses for just signing up with a casino.Lots of terms and not like the good old days though.Make sure they are USA friendly too.Google search casino lists saying ok for USA and no deposit bonuses and lots of opportunities will pop up.

if you play. and after you know had much you can lose. at a session. put your loss limits down. and be solid. once the water is going down the drain. at least plug it up. and save some of it.

cuz it will drain bro. and you possibly might get some back. but the best way is learn how much you can lose at your game your playing. and then put the stop limit on losses at that point. where you are most comfortable. and then don't change it that session.

if you want to change your limits. do it at a later session.

in other words. when learning a game. initally i will play conservatevely. so i can learn. then after i know the game. i will allow my learning bankroll to drain out. say $200.

then after this is gone. i will place a new bankroll in place with the "learned " loss side of it solid in the limits. (if you don't lose it once, how will you know) also say you go up $30. then the casino variance grips. and your game starts sliping in the session. i would only give back half of this. profit of $15.

i usually keep playing when i am winning. but will quit when i start losing. at least loss in s specific amount. lossing on the winning side, and losing on the losing side.

god help us on the last one.

one last tip. you need food( wins) to survive. but don't glutten out. eat what you need so you have energy for your next session. eating to much wins will expose you to to much variance. and mr. casino is standing right there. with his house edge.

                              My guess is either

                              a) you are strictly selecting only certain VP machines i.e. "Full Pay deuces wild" that have a tiny or negative house edge, or combining a small house edge on a full pay table with house comps to effectively give you a small edge and are grinding out a tiny profit over the long term.

                              or

                              b) Your definition of "long-term" is not the same as some others here. See FourLengthsClear's post.

Like 4 years ago, I use to use sports.com and had $50 in there that somehow i forgot about. anyways, I took it to the casino part of the site and tried out Casino Hold'em and I went on an insane streak, of flopping flushes and a couple of full houses while playing the bonus. In 30 minutes I took the account up to $1200 and cashed out, I got the check in 3 weeks time and deposited it with no issues. It was around tax season too, so I got a tax refund plus that extra $1200, it was awesome!

In 2009, playing VP at one of the books advertised here won about $40,000. it was a good run and I got paid...

You'll only make money whoring bonuses at the casinos but even that has dried up for the most part. Of course there is positive variance run but it's hard to beat the math long term.

Blackjack is a total rip off. You will never see a live dealer get so many BJs or cards that equal 21 in your life.

Everything is all luck...but if you got money to play with bet big one you start losing a few hands back off the table bc the odds eventually are going to go against you
