You are incorrect about the ref though. He has been a Premiere League ref for like 10 years so I highly doubt this will be his last game.

Well he didn't send off Barton for a dangerous tackle and instead sends off Diaby for retaliating. Barton is the dirtiest player in the league. He did a couple years in the slammer. Then the first penalty the guy kicked the ball clearly between his legs. The second one I have no idea why it was a foul let alone a penalty kick. Maybe in the Kazakhstan league is a penalty were the refs take bribes but this is the Premier League. Watch the highlights.

I watched the game and I am not disagreeing with you that Dowd ref'd the match like shit. He was awful. I was just saying he has been around too long for them to get rid of him over this one match.

diaby made a silly mistake but i will blame wenger for not changing tactics or substituting walcot or arshavin for a defensivie player as soon as diaby was sent off. common the score was 4 - 0 to arsenal, Lock your defence and newcastle will suffer to get a goal. Inter went to nou camp and defended with ten for almost the whole match and barca didn't find a way to break 10 man defence
