Hey guys. I am heading out to vegas in early March and need some advice on the best sportsbooks and was also curious which ones still offered free drinks/easily obtainable comps?
Which Vegas Sportsbooks still offer free drinks?

#6Just walk out of the book and sit at a slot machine for 5 minutes. Or go track down one of those chicks that walk around the tables and slots slip her a $10 and tell her your in the sportsbook ( she'll check on you all night).
Just some ideas.
Worked for me when I was there in AugustComment -

#7Had a very hard time getting free drinks in Las Vegas. The Southpoint did as long as u showed them your were making a bet.Drinks were free in the racebook.Spent the next day at Caesars Palace no dice no free drinks even when i showed her my NBA bet and she was a ugly old cow too.The drinks were not free in the racebook either.Only got a free drink if you bet 6 bucks or more so i did what the other guy said put a buck in the penny machine girl came right over in 1 minute got a free drink las vegas sure has change has never been the same since the Hacienda went away boy i oved the Hacienda great old place to Gamble.Comment -

#8Love the idea of using penny slots as a way to get cheap drinks! I am not generally a cheap person but when you are practically handing the casinos money you should at least be able to get a good buzz for free.Comment -

#9bellagio is the best of the best
nice big glass, constant waitress service, and no bullshit about showing tickets or getting coupons for every $x amount of bets

#10Why is it they give you so much hassle now in Las Vegas when your in the race and sports books now for free drinks do they think race and sports players are a bunch of freeloaders.A lot of trouble there but when i go to the Craps table free drink in 2 seconds.Im not much of a drinker anyway just remember how it was in the old days i think it was maybe early in the 2000's when the hassle began.Comment -

#11Unless your a big time gambler you won't get much out here anymore. Right now vegas has the 5th worst economy in the world and casinos are just trying to stay open. Usually a sports bet will get you a drink coupon for a domestic beer. If you gamble on anything else they will comp you actual booze but in no way will it be top shelf. The days of grey goose till you black out are done.Comment -

#12Bellagio does but it is a pain in the ass to get one! Last time they told me I had to be sitting in a certain area of the sportsbook to get one eventhough I showed them my ticket of having a nickle on the game that was on!Comment -

#13I stayed at planet hollywood in dec. They give a free drink ticket for a $100 bet. Then give it to the waitress walking around. But if you make a $500 bet, you still only get 1 free drink ticket. Would have to keep going back to the window $100 at a time.Comment -

#14Let me break this down for you.
I live in Vegas and EVERY sportsbook gives you drink tickets if you are betting sports or horses. Some are more liberal with the tickets. Planet Hollywood USED to be good, but when they became a Harrah's property, they went to shit. The best of the best IN the sportsbook are Wynn, Pallazzo and Bellagio. Now if you are at the bar, put $20 in any of the video poker machines and play slowly. You get free drinks as long as you are playing.Comment -

#19The new Hard Rock book opened this week. It is small but modern. they have the curved television viewing agles. not a fan.
Cosmopolitan book is very cool. No horse racing till March 1st though.
Planet Hollywood sportsbook is sad for a larger casino on the strip.
Red Rock casino has a great sportsbook. Plenty of seats. TV's all over and the lines are never long.
Lagasse's sportsbook at the Pallazzo is cool if yo have a girl with you. Cool seating and food. not for the degens though. More like a party atmospehere than a degen/pro atmosphere.Comment -
