If Big Ben Wins 3 Super Bowls-What's His QB Rank of All Time?
It's very difficult to classify "who's the best". You have guy's like Elway with 2, dart throwers like Marino with 0, Joe Montana (In my opinion the best) and Bradshaw with 4. Peyton Manning who's considered "one of the best ever" only has 1 and isn't as clutch as people think.

My Point: IF Rothlisberger wins: he has 3 Super Bowls (played like crap in 1 of them)--Big Ben will only be 29 in March. He can set records. If Warner is Hall of Fame for 2 then Ben should skyrocket.

He's very difficult to classify. He can tie Brady at 3. What if he passes Brady? Nobody's going to tell me that Rothlisberger is better than Manning or Brady.

somewhere between 10-20 probably. His defense has gotten him to superbowls(and won him his first).

hes above average, but not brady or manning.

I am going to name 7 QBs. You tell me which ones you would bump for Big Ben.

          1. Montana
          2. Unitas
          3. Brady
          4. Elway
          5. Manning
          6. Marino
          7. Bradshaw

And how about these other guys? Aikman (3 Super Bowls), Staubach (2 Super Bowls), Stabler, Namath, Favre, Warner, Starr, Young.

Depends on how Ben plays in this one. If he wins this one and has a good game, he will have 3 rings. Plus, he has many years left in him. He's only 28. Win or lose, this is his 3rd Superbowl appearance.

I agree with JJ. When he's done playing, his numbers will put him in the top 5-7 Alltime. But, not necessarily at this point in his career.

I'd have to say that rings can become an overrated stat. Just because Roethlisberger has two rings, potentially three, I can't say that he's superior to Steve Young, Troy Aikman, Brett Favre, Bart Starr, etc. To be quite honest, I can't even see him being top 15 all time. He's an above average QB, no doubt, but he's not at the very peak of QBs in history.

Ben could go 39-43 and throw for 394 yds with 4 TD'd and win his 3rd SUPERBOWL and he would not sniff being a TOP TEN QB of ALL-TIME in my book.

In fact, if RODGERS has a good game and the Packers win the Superbowl, RODGERS would rate above BIG BEN on my all-time list of great QB's

Presently, RODGERS is the ALL-TIME PASSER RATING leader and he will have won one less SB than Big Ben.................

Top this off with Rodgers being a slightly better running QB and a 10x classier individual, and Rodgers moves ahead of Big Ben in all-time greatness.

You guys do realize Ben and Brady have almost exactly the same career postseason QB rating right?

I'm not sure where a 3rd Super Bowl would put him all time but it would definately put him 1 and 1A with Brady as current QB's.

In the Steelers first SB win with Big Ben, mighty Ben had a QB rating of 23.......LOL.

Again, if RODGERS has a decent to good game and the Packers win, RODGERS moves ahead of Big Ben on the all-time list of great QB's........

Brady has 2 mvps (one coming this year). How many does Ben have? Ben will obviously NEVER win an MVP.

Tracy Mcgrady and Allen Iverson have as good of post season numbers as Jordan, and even better than Kobe. So those two guys are better than Kobe and Jordan right?

when was the last time Brady won a playoff game?

yeah, Big Ben has had alot of help from his defense in winning Super Bowls. Hell he set records his rookie season that no doubt were due to his defense.

but he didn't LOSE those games. and he ALLOWED his teams to get far in the playoffs.

most importanly, Ben has won more games coming from behind in the 4th quarter than any active QB and will go down as the QB that won a game in the 4th quarter more than any other.

I see Terry Bradshaw on some lists of great QB's.

why? he was an average qb

Then again, Big Ben with an impressive performance and a Pitt victory will enable him to be considered in everyone's top ten of great QB'S

nope, not right at all. ridiculous statement.

rankings and ratings are over-rated. squares like them..... but in the over all scheme of things, it is a big more complicated.

all I know, if you are down by 6 with 3 mins to go. most nfl players would want Rapelisthberger to be their QB.

the guy, makes plays no one else can. not even mike vick.

he's the perfect QB for his team.

Green Bay by a couple pts................
wow I'm on Pitt +2.5 for a week or so now. But had the feeling the last few days that Packers win by a point or two, hope you're right.

game won't come down to qb's anyways.

green bay NT vs back up steeler fumble-center.

who clear cut can it be?

yeah, maybe the dumbest or unluckiest qb to rape girls

but i'm sure hundreds of girls get taken advantage by professional athletes in various ways every year, without it going public, one way or another.

Hell, the avg freshmen college dorm hallway is half full of guys that took advantage of drunk girls.
