#2This is the worse time to have a lockout cuz of the already high unemployment. They need to federally legalize sports betting for all states.Comment -

#7Other sports will pick up the slack, won't they? They really think that gamblers will sit the season out if there's a lockout?Comment -

#11I think most recreational bettors bet a little College football but most of their wagers are on the NFL. I don't see them playing much NBA or College basketball because there is no NFL.Comment -

#15100% sure we are going to have a lockout. No one is budging from their demands. And Vegas is not going to lose any money. They will schedule college games on Sundays to fill the void.Comment -

#16No way is there a lockout. Neither side will move now but it's still all posturing. They will find a way to make it work. Not worried in the least. Too much to lose on both sides!!!Comment -

There will not be a lockout, to much money involved. To many things would crumble.Comment -

#20Yeah, even if Vegas loses a ton o coin, them pretty lights are still going to be shining. It's stupid to consider a lockout or even now a possible strike. I never thought it would come to this, but I have to say the NFLPA and the 'top tier' earning franchise owners really are screwing the pooch big on this.Comment -

#31There will be a season next year but it's gonna start late and be shortened.
NFL is #1....they're not gonna follow what happened to MLB in 94 and lose a season completely and risk losing King of the Hill status.Comment -

More likely the NBA locks out than the NFL.
I have a hard time believing the Goodell will let a lockout happen, otherwise is reign as commish is all but over.
but, of course, if this isn't solved the week before the draft (allowing owners to swap players during the draft), it may well drag out into the summer and be finalized last minute in late July.Comment
