They changed my carrier back in Nov. and this guy is brutal. Someone from a building next door to me handed me my paycheck because the carrier put my mail in some other person's box. I can't imagine what's not getting to me.

I've had several packages sent on bizarre routes. They have some kind of special people hiring program going on. (srs)

Haven't noticed much of a difference, guess it depends where you're at...

Mine seems to be just fine, but I would never put any trust in the post office.

gotta agree. I have had the same PO BOX since 1972 and they still reurn at least a half a dozen pieces a year(usually with checks inside) as "addressee unknown" or undeliverable. Last year oneproperly addressed envelope went to Texas (I'm here in Florida.) A month ago bank statement took 3 weeks to get here. And it's not like I get tons & tons of mail there, usually only a dozen pieces per week. I stopped visiting the Postmaster's office to complain as it proves to be a futile trip and is just a source of more aggravation to me. Instead, perhaps a formal complaint (or two or three or four as Curly used to say) to the Postmaster General may help. I vow right now to try that someday.

My opinion is the problem lies with the help they hire and less than lax enforcement of general rules. Here, behind the boxes themselves is the general work area and more often than not there is rap or hip hip music blaring and half of the crew shucking and jiving to it. The other half are communicating in a language that is not..........let's just say English, the official language of this country.

The uniform code is very laxfor some. My regular delivery person subscribes to it and is very good (and earms her generous Christmas tip). But the substitute doesn't even know how to spell uniform and many times I see carriers walking around that are unrecognizeable as they wear old tattered sneakers, non uniform shorts with sloppy shirts hanging out, trucker's caps with logos, etc. Very unprofessional and sends a terrible message.

                  Just my 2 cents
