Is it possible to download youtube videos, burn them to a cd and play in a dvd player
I have a friend who is looking for an oooooooold school movie, it's on youtube broken into like 15 parts or so. Can these youtube clips be downloaded and burned onto a cd to play in a dvd player?

If so... how? I need instructions.

Somebody help Diggity here, I want to help this friend out.

Hmm yea it's possible, but your going to have to download some software. 1) A program that you allows you to covert the youtube .FLV file to a DVD format. 2) A program that will piece all the files together.

Would be easier just to download a torrent and illegally download the movie.

.flv to pretty much another other dvd able file is the key. If anyone has any guaranteed freeware that does it, please share.

Problem is that I lost the cable for my external dvd burner, so I am stuck with my internal cd burner.

          in would involve several steps.

          in general -

1- look in mozilla add-ons for something to extract the .flv file in youtube to .mpg or .wmv or whatever. maybe try a general search "download video"
2- optional - after you've extracted all parts you might want to combine all of them using a good video editing program. google is ur friend here.
3- burn it using nero or other popular programs out there. set appropriate settings to burn as DVD format if desired. once again google is ur friend u can see also "top ten reviews" on good programs to use.

          good luck !

yes there are programs you can easily find on the internet that will download youtube videos to your hard drive

then use another progam which again can be easily found online, i use 'free video converter' to convert it into mpg1

                and you are set

I start with http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/ that will rip from YouTube, then drop to ConvertXtoDVD3and burn through that program, I use 3 'cause anything newer has been buggy for me.

                      What's the movie?
Have you searched for it on Torrents? It might be a lot easier. TBH.

with free video converter you can convert to anything you want

if you convert to mpg1 most dvd/cd players will be able to play it

with the newer players you can even convert it to avi and it will play them just fine

it doesnt matter if you burn them on dvd or cd
