Arby's is delicious. It's a nice change if you have to eat fast food and much better than BK, McD, Taco Bell, etc.

I like Arby's. Probably because there are so few of them in Ct, so eating there once every few months is OK with me. Good value for cheap fast food and there's a coupon for a free sandwich on the back of every receipt. Much better than McD's but far inferior to something like Jersey Mike's.

I do like Jersey Mikes. I'm not too crazy about their philly cheesesteak, but their other subs are decent.

There's only one JM in my state, busy as Hell too ! I consider that to be pretty decent food. It would be a good franchise to get into....at least here.

best deal (at least here in my neck of the woods) is at the bottom of the receipt you can take an online survey for a bogo regular (not a stupid jr) roast beef sammich. i can more then make a meal outta 2 of those for $2.80

i remember back in the day arby's was considered "quality" fast food... as step up from all the regular places. now... you can't take a bite out of a roast beef sandwich without sprinting to the toilet.

I wouldn't want to eat it 3 times a week, for sure !

Tacobell seems the worst for the trots to me....haven't had that in several years...none within 15 miles of me. The area of CT I'm in ( near Old Saybrook) is ripe for a Tacobell, Arby's or Mike's. Any of those 3 would work well here. Plenty of McD's here and there must be at least 15 Dunkin Donuts within 10 miles. Subway is well represented too !

Arby's is almost a treat for me....value wise, that part is important....food ain't great by any means, but the value is there !

My 1st job was at a Arbys in Dallas TX back in the 70s, all I can say is I have not eaten a roast beef sandwhich from one since,its pretty disgusting the way they came wrapped in plastic with some sort of liquid fat mixture. Kinda looks like canned Spam wrapped in plastic. The Ham was okay though, JMO.

I'd expect tacobell beef to be canned and resemble ALPO. We know it isn't filet mignon at TB....etc.

We have great roast beef where I'm from in the Northeast and I want to emphasize, I am not a fast food snob. That being said, I went to an Arby's (there are virtually none within a 30 mile radius from me) about 15 years ago when I was on a road trip. Honest to God it was the most foul sandwich I ever ate. This is coming from a guy that will eat Mickey D's or BK or Taco Bell and not whine because it's not chateaubriand. There are those that say they hate fast food just to appear above it all. I'm not that guy so when I tell you this was horrible, I'm not doing it to knock fast food. I couldn't believe the fat and, well I will leave it at that.

Maybe it was a bad sandwich on a bad day because I cannot believe this could possibly become a national chain if that's what they serve on a regular basis. Never ate another one and don't plan on it.
