Not even close. I've had a few trick emails that appear like a gift but when I open it's all the same. "Deposit and recieve...." Don't bother sending me that crap unless you are really giving out a gift.

lets say you blow through some decent cash throughout the year and you are down in the thousands
it would be great practice for a book to give you some super gift/free play to get you coming back
especially for people who lose, they would be thinking "wow im going to stick with this book and play because at the end of the year they treat me right".

seems like the books are making more money and treating the players less. bottom line its just a very nice gesture

Tell us more about the good old days when books actually gave real gifts. It must have been a great time to be a member of a sportsbook. I've never recieved anything from a sportsbook as a gift other than a free $25 cash from sportsbook.com which was really cool and the standard Betphoenix $25 freeplay with restricted 3 game parlay with a massive rollover and limited withdraw.

True. I'm not a big offshore guy though. I only bet about $50 to a $100 usd per game average. If I was betting $500 or more a game I'm certain they would limit me at least if not show me the door. Considering I only bet small amounts I think keeps me under the radar. I do notice the books dealing me bad lines. Almost always notice my lines are worse then what the books show at sbr odds. The only book that hasn't given me that feeling is 5dimes and I've hit them hard recently.
