Surely if they have determined that General isn't somehow cheating their system they believe his success is just down to a very luck streak? If so, they are fools to reduce his staking which means they can't recover their losses nearly as quickly as if they were to allow him to play on at $1000 per hand.

On the other hand, if they believe he is somehow cheating their system, why are they allowing him to keep his winnings and play on at all?

General has confessed that he knows the casino will win in the long term. What sort of nutter must he be then to not take his winnings and quit rather than keep wanting to play $1000 per hand?
