is there anything worse than losing an NHL under cuz of an empty netter?
just lost a nice parlay cuz of the carolina game. There were only 4 goals with 2 mins left and of course there were 2 in the final 1:30

Been there and it always feels like a bad beat. The end of a hockey game with an extra skater going 6-on-5 and the empty net often has 'total' players on the edge of their seats.

I once had 2 different parlays going down to the last leg on both.
It was an NHL game and I had the Dog +1.5 and Under 5.5
3-2 late in the game, empty netter screws both my parlays.

sure there is. having a $5000.00 RL bet+1.5 and being down one in the top of the 9th with two outs and having you're team tie it with a solo homer. and losing on a walk off three run homer in the bottom of the 9th. it happened to me. thats how i am sure

that is bad. I know what you are talking about there, the team was going to lose anyway, but was compelled to somehow tie it, only to lose by more than they would have otherwise

one of the worst days of my life. it was in 01 or 02. twins-A's. and to make it worse the guy who hit the three run homer was tejada back in his juicing days. if he wasnt juicing probably wouldnt of happened

Those empty netters will also get you the win sometimes too. Works both ways. I find they actually work in your favour in the end.

having the under 2.5 in soccer. the score being 1-1 and a team scoring in the last seconds of extra time is wayyyy worse IMO. Especially when like 5 minutes of extra time is added because some pussy soccer player dives and has a pain orgasm on the ground for a minute and half after barely getting touched.

Empty netters definitely suck but yeah I agree with the few above that injury time soccer goals are just brutal. You're sitting there yelling at the stupid ref to blow his whistle already but he lets it go a few more seconds and then GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! I haven't bet soccer since this happened to me

The worst way to lose is when you are up 6 and laying 4.5 and your team takes an intentional safety

In basketball an uncontested deuce when the defense just lets the guy drive the lane for an easy bucket to kill your cover or under. Esp when lots of teams just dribble it out and give up, but some 8th man off the bench needs his two points. That's the worst.

Getting kicked in the balls is pretty bad.
I remember this past season, I had Rockies on the RL against the brewers, leading by 2, 9th inning, 2 outs on Brewers, I believe Hart popped up, Clint fucken Barmes is waiting on it to come down, easiest fucken play, a routine fucken pop up, and he dropped it, 2 unearned runs come to tie and Rockies win in the 10th off a Troy single. I couldn't watch espn that whole day cuz they kept showing that play over and over again. Simplest out any 7 year old coulda made.

how can it be worse than Tennessee's TD with 0:00 on the clock to cover vs Indy on Thursday night?

I find it just as bad when you have the under in nba than both teams play the foul game in the last minute.

Oh man it sucks. But don't forget, there will be times you cash your over bet by an empty net goal.

Missed free throws.
Injury time goals.
Walk off home runs for 2+ runs.
Team giving up SHG on the powerplay with a minute left.
Leverage penalties.
Thing is, these are all the best things that can happen, too.
