Beginning of the end for Tim Tebow
Finally!! The ending of Tim Tebows career when he finally gets his start on Sunday and is exposed as a terribly absurd NFL QB!!

The hating on Tebow is simple, the guy does not have NFL skills and he kissed ass his way into a high draft pick... Prob a great guy and motivator and maybe a great COACH someday, but going to be a bust quicker than Ryan Leaf

Tim Tebow is a bettor quarterback than Tim the Toolman but not as good as Tiny Tim.

Do you really think that it's possible to ass kiss your way to a first round draft pick? Really??? Seriously???

If you truly think that, then continuing this conversation is pretty much pointless because NFL teams guard their draft picks the way a mother lion protects her cubs. Now, McBrat may have been wrong in his evaluation of Tebow's NFL potential. But the point is someone in the NFL thought enough of Tebow to make him a first round draft pick.

Now, whether or not Tebow has NFL skills is yet to be determined. But yesterday, he was 8-of-16 for 138 yards, with a 100.5 passer rating, and 216 yards overall. I'd say that was a pretty good 1st start and certainly deserving of another start.

Now, there was another Denver QB who had a resonably inauspicous start (1-of-8 for 14 yards, 0 yards rushing) and went on to have a pretty good career...his name, of course, was John Elway. I'm NOT saying Tebow will be Elway (I'n actually pretty sure he won't be). I'm saying the guy has one NFL start and it wasn't too bad.

And since you don't really know if Tebow has NFL skills (and I don't either for that matter)...let it play out. The NFL is about Darwinian a ecosystem as you'll find. If you can play, you'll have a job. If you can't, they will quickly show you the door...

I don't really care about Tebow one way or another, but the more defensive coordinators get film on him, the more he is going to get exposed. They'll force him to throw and see if he can make the throws an NFL caliber QB needs to.

He needs to work on a quicker release, but once he has time to setup his arm strength looks promising.

And, likewise, the more film he gets, the better he will become.

Look, I have the same opinion as you, I am neither here nor there with the guy. We know he can move, we know he has a strong arm (if not an odd delivery), and we know that he is a competitor. Draft that and coach up the other stuff. Let's see how he takes to it.

personally, i didn't like tebow much at florida.

for some reason or another, i actually like the guy now and want to see him succeed.

but didn't like his post game press conference. he was too giddy after that loss.

he needs to prove he can be a leader on the nfl level.

Anyone see vicks passes in nat champ game against FSU. He was an abortion throwing the ball. But he isnt too bad today. Give tebow time. The NFL is full of busts. Maybe he becomes one but with his work ethic i highly doubt it.

Tim Tebow's greatest strength is his ability to inspire the others around him. And from what I could see yesterday, there are Broncos that would follow him anywhere.

This is the NFL, when he looks overmatched consitantly they wont even follow him out of the locker room
