Saw "The Fighter" tonight!

I saw it last night. Good movie but it would've been great if Ward-Gotti was in the movie. Also, Walberg didn't resemble Mickey Ward. Slightly exaggerated moments but the Christian Bale did a very good Dicky Eklund imitation. I would rate it a 7 out of 10

This movie isn't in the same stratosphere as Rocky. Rocky 1 will always be the greatest boxing movie and my favorite movie of all time

I didn't read the earlier post, but did see the movie about a week back and will give my thoughts.

First off Bale dropping that kind of weight again for a role and the performance he gave, unreal IMO.

Marky Mark, what can you say, guy might be the best actor today.

And now to my fav. Amy Adams looked absolutley beautiful carrying a few extra pounds and having that dirty Southy accent.

Overall great flick because I followed every Micky Ward fight and any one that did knows he was a scrapper and his battles with Gatti will never be forgotten, ever.
