NY Giants plane diverted to Kansas City

because of the blizzard here in MN. They are staying the night in KC and hoping to come to Twin Cities in the morning. As of now the plan is to still kickoff at noon but the NFL is considering changing the start time.

I think the line move has to do with Favre being doubtful and it's irrelevant to the Giants travelling plans.

This same crap happened with the Bears last year when they played Baltimore. Needless to say they got blown out 31-7. I know, I know these are the Giants and Minny, but I think this situation can affect a team greatly. Now you have to get up early tomorrow, take a flight, from the flight to the bus, straight to the stadium... players and coaches feeling rushed.

I would not be shocked if they moved that game to 3 pm CT game. In Minnesota they are having it rough up there.

I think if it's not safe for the fans to drive to the stadium it will be delayed or cancelled. They can clean the field but they would love to have fans in the stadium.

Getting out of KC isn't going to be easy....weather is changing for the bad as we speak. Wind is gusting around 35-40 and the windchill is at 0...weather advisory in effect.

I'm going to the game as of now... But there is talk of the kickoff being delayed. More beer intake for me before the game I guess... Ton of snow. Up to 20 inches in most areas.
