Off to slow start with the injuries. The summer tourneys may have taken a little toll on him that is going to take time to shake off.

No player is more important to their team's success than CP3, Rondo and Deron at this point of the season.

You guys know that the knicks are full of d league players right? That team fukkin sucks. Without Amare they would have won 2 games to this point. Having said that the MVP will have to go to either Bryant/Wade/Dirk/Cp3 this year.

Rondo will not get MVP because of the big 3 and Durant is too young to win MVP and I don't think the coaches want him to win it this year since he will win it 2-3 times int he next 10 years. Plus he is lacking on the defensive end still; he would need to take a top 3 seed in the west to win and that wont happen.

Eric Gordon is absolutely horrific. See my most recent two posts about the Clippers and Eric Gordon. The guy cannot get out of his own way, cannot create his own shot, and is way overrated. I have watched most every game, too. He decides where he is going and then just plows ahead....or shoots when wide open.

He cannot adjust on the fly. He stumbles all over himself every time he needs to make a play.

I'm a Knicks fan and I have to say this thread is totally ret@rded.The Knicks' next 8 games (after the Wizards game) till the end of this month will tell the tale for the Knicks....not to mention all of January. After that their schedule is pretty easy down the last 3 months of the regular season.

If they can go 3-5 in their next 8 games then this team has a great chance at the #5 seed.....if they go any worse these last 13 games were a fluke.

Knicks will get the 5 or 6 seed. Ahead of us is Boston, Miami, Orlando and Chicago so we have to beat out Atlanta for the 5.

Knicks will regress and teams like philly and mlwakee with progress in the next few weeks in my opinion. knicks are d league players and a superstar and 2 solid starters. If the knicks take the 5/6 seed amare will be a top 4 candidate for MVP

The Knicks have a very solid 9-10 man rotation, definitely no d leaguers.

They're just trying to do the same thing that the Suns did under D'Antoni. With Steve Nash that was the most entertaining stretch of basketball I have ever seen. More so than the showtime Lakers. Edge of your seat stuff. Every game a highlight reel. They should have won at least one championship, but all they got was a couple of MVP's for Nash. Sad that Amare left for NY. He's a beast, and a couple of thunderdunks was often enough to change the other team into a little mouse.

I could easily make the case that Steve Nash has been the MVP for years. The value of any player who plays with Nash increases, often dramatically so. Most NBA fans are probably too casual to realize that. Marion was an All Star with Phoenix and wanted a max contract. Now he's coming off the bench in Dallas... On top of that Nash is constantly challenged, by the stupid Phoenix front office that refuses to hold on to its core players, to start basically from scratch with a new group of players. And so far he's managed to make the team gel every year. He's a miracle worker, as far as I'm concerned.
