He will take a couple years off until his kids are out of high school and then land a job at another major program most likely Notre Dame if Brian Kelly fukks up.

This year would have been his 6th straight top 7 class.

In his 6 years, he had 3 classes ranked in the top 2.

He left because he knows he cannot compete in SEC right now meaning 11-1 type years

He left because he has no Tim Tebow on the horizon, and the defenses have caught up with his offense. Florida also loses a lot of linemen on both sides of the ball next season. They must travel to Auburn, LSU, and South Carolina. They also get Alabama and Florida State at home. Georgia and Tennessee will improve, and South Carolina will be a favorite to repeat in the SEC East. Next season has all the earmarks of 7-5 or 8-4. Now was the right time for him to leave.

I think he wants to spend time with his family. After his health scare last year I think it made him put alot stuff in its right place. He has enough money and i think he wants to spend time with his kids while they are still relativley young and you know what good for him. I was suprised that he came back this year after he announced he was leaving. Give him a few years to recharge his battery and my gut tells me he will end up at Notre Dame once Brian Kelly falls flat on his face.
