    will someone explain craigslist???
I put stuff for sale on their all the time, and have never had a spam problem real bad until just recently.

I have some boat parts on there, I get an email saying something about anti-bacteria & pqjqb & some other shit

What is this?? The robots that send mail do this??? Why dont they try to scam me or something? I feel cheated

I get the ones all the time that say they want my item just send them my address & they'll send the check I mean, at least theyre asking, not trying but a retarded 9 year old might fall for it.

I had a helluva time sorta threw the spam when I was selling my old DSLR camera. But ended up finally finding someone to buy it. Haven't had a problem with spammers in the last couple months. Just sold my xbox and then a bunch of games aside from that. Didn't have 1 spam sent in the past 2 weeks.

The spammers on craigslist is the only negative. And all of the JJgolds trying to offer 20 bucks for a game that is selling on ebay for 45-50.

you guys are doing it wrong. yes they are bots that are emailing you. but if you ever notice when you sell or inquire about buying something the only thing you have is something like this: sale-pw6tq-2101593xxxx@craigslist.org. what the bots are doing is trying to get you to respond (yes, people actually do respond for whatever reason) and then have your actual email address to then spam or sell.

best bet when selling is to make your email address anonymous and the spell out your email in the body of the ad like this: abc at gmail dot com. bots can not pick that up and you won't get any more spam

It took me a second too, after I wrote it. I said the only problem, but then listed 2 problems.
