They are correct. There are lines every 5 yards but are only numbered every 10 yards.

This guy explained this to me and he thinks it's college basketball and they mean the average margin of points win. Poorly worded.

I got a bit of luck today and made the 50 question but didn´t go further. Is there still four options on the 125 point question? And is that the last one or how many points is the maximum?

Oh well, let's just appreciate all the giveaways here and not be too disappointed if we don't get the max points out of trivia. After all, if you don't feel like posting anything else, you can come to a trivia thread , get 8 points for a complaint, and go do something productive with your real life.

I think there is a certain amount of questions being used and a randomizer assigns them to each poster every time. I have never got the same question twice so far. I think they are aware of which are the poorly worded questions and at some point they would be removed from the system.

if you wanna get technical...if the question read how many yards are BETWEEN the lines, then the answer is 4. you can't count the lines if it read BETWEEN

Well, you "of course" said 10, which wouldn't be right by any stretch of the imagination. By your rationale, possible answers include 1,5, and 100, but there are no sets of line at every 10 yards only.

From a probability point of view these levels seems a bit strange to me. The way this is constructed it should be quite obvious you should always give the 50 pointer a try but stay away from the 125...
