Agree totally. Can't say Anderson has much talent but just because he's smiling on the sideline with his friend doesn't mean he's not dedicated.

I can see why frustrated fans would be a little peeved at catching him smiling but cmon' -- who knows what they were talking about but assuming it was about football/the game wouldn't a player remaining positive/optimistic in the face of a bad result be a good thing.

I wonder if the media and press would be happier had microphones caught this convo instead:

Anderson: Boy, we really suck balls.

Latui: Yah you were pretty pathetic today.

Anderson: (frowning) Yep, we might as well just pack it in this season.

Jay Cutler caught crap last year for not wearing the right expression during Bears losses. Few would argue Jay isn't a competitor this year. Not everyone is as dramatic as Brett Favre.....

If I had to bet money, I would bet they were pissed off and one of them broke the tension and cracked a little joke to make them feel a little better. No reason for the reporter to ask the question.
