Obviously, geography doesn't play a role now and I certainly agree this is a decision solely to benefit the football program. I would be curious to see a comparison of travel distances and cost. I'm sure the $15 million will cover travel costs. Also, how does a TCU alum become a Syracuse basketball fan?

Travel money won't ever be a problem for a private university with alums with big pockets .... Syracuse has just always been in my blood. Have lots of family in NJ-NY and I did live up that way for a few years. Maybe it's because I need something to root for during basketball, TCU certainly won't provide much.
